Regular events

  • Petersfield Eco Café - every Tuesday 10am - midday

    You'll find us in the Courtyard Room at Winton House (opposite M&S). Access is through the cafe - please bring your keep cup or mug and buy a drink from the cafe, or use our supplies for a small donation. Petersfield Eco Café - every Tuesday 10am - midday.

  • PeCAN at the Pub

    PeCAN at the Pub is to be held on the last Wednesday of each month in the Folly Bar from 7-9pm, starting on September 24. The gathering will relocate to the Folly Upstairs on a quarterly basis to become a Volunteers Evening. You will find the group in the area to the right of the bar, ahead of you as you walk in.

    Anyone and everyone who is interested in our environment and concerned about the climate crisis is more than welcome to join us. We are a positive, solutions-based bunch, and we look forward to meeting you.

    (PeCAN have a Summer Party July/Aug and a Christmas Party in December which merges with serves as the social gathering for those months - keep an eye on events listings, social media and newsletter for updates)

  • HartingCAN Repair Café – 3rd Saturday of every month, 10am – 12:30, at Harting Club, Church Lane, South Harting

    Visitors welcome. Refreshments available.

    So far they have repaired 969 items!

  • Petersfield Men's Shed

  • Wildlife talk in Buriton: Hidden Lives in Our Hedges, Gardens and Fields

    Wednesday 18 February, 7.30 in Buriton Village Hall

    An illustrated talk arranged by Buriton’s Environmental Association

    Many of the most important creatures in our countryside live quietly out of sight, keeping the countryside alive. This talk, by Andy Davidson of Hampshire County Council, will uncover their remarkable life stories — sleeping through winter, transforming, flying, feeding and breeding — and explain how their lives connect closely with our own. A relaxed, illustrated and eye-opening evening in Buriton village hall which should be perfect for gardeners, walkers and anyone curious about nature.

    Admission is free with a retiring collection. All are welcome.

  • Himalayan balsam training day

    28th February and 21st March, 10am - 4pm, Memorial Hall, North St, Midhurst.

    South Downs National Park provides a training day for community groups and volunteers.

  • Building a resilient Chichester

    Wednesday 4th March, 2pm-4pm. Friends Meeting House, Priory Road, PO19 1NX, free of charge.

    Ian Guppy, Adviser to the West Sussex County Council on emergency & resilience, will talk to us about their approach and how we can contribute.
